Thanks to everybody that's come out to the jam at the Halligan the last coupe of weeks. A lot of great players have been showing up! Billy Davis, Jay Bone and Ray, Dr Walley, Chris Leigh, Odell Blues Boy D (he is the special guest nest week), Mike Lopez, Steve Glazer, Jason and Aron and I'm sure many more. Back in the USA!

Wow, back in the USA after the tour.
A lot of fun and some cool gigs, I want to say thanks to Hooter and his band Hooter's Blues!
I wrote several new songs while in Europe and am now looking forward to recording a new CD. I will keep you posted on that!!
Tonight May 6 I am back at the Halligan Bar in Detroit.We are there next week backing up Emanuel Young.

This week I'm in Denmark. We sart the week off playing at several schools.
Next week back in Sweden.
I'm having a lo tof fun, but I'm really looking forward to coming home and jamming and recording the the EL 34s !

Norway again

Hello,

We are back in Norway for a couple of more days, then we start the last long leg of the tour.
In 12 days we have about 18 gigs - mostly in Denmark and Sweden. The last day of the tour April 30, we host the jam at the Saxon King in Horton, Norway. We played there last night as part of a concert series put on by their blues society.
Hope everybody is doing well!
I'll look forward to jamming with the EL 34s when I return!!

The Tour

Hello Everybody,
Today I have a day off in some small town in Norway.
Wednesday we go to Denmark for five days.
So far the tour is going well. The first week we played seven gigs in five days in three countries (Norway, Sweden and Denmark). A lot of driving!!!!!!
I hope it continues to go well!
I hope the EL 34s are having fun holding down the jam at the Halligan Bar in Detroit.

Sunday March 26 I leave for Norway.
It should be quite an experience. If you are in Norway, Denmark or Sweden please come on out!

Live Recording at The Halligan Bar

Saturday March 18 - I will be doing a live CD recording of Detroit's great blues guitarist and singer Emanuel Young. Emanuel is one of Detroit's blues treasures, he has performed with many of the greats through out the years including a two year stint with John Lee Hooker in the late 1950s. I will be backing up Emanuel along with my band the EL 34s. This is a project that Emanuel and I have been talking about for several years and I'm very excited that it is finally going to happen. So come on out to the Halligan Bar and make some noise.
